I work where technology meets people. On one side: corporate IT management, infrastructure and security-oriented operations. On the other: communication, parenting education and work with families from different cultures.
The story
For years I have worked on two things that look unrelated. In IT, my work has been about infrastructure, networks, identities, devices and security for organizations: making sure systems can rely on each other. With families, I spent eight years at a parent academy working with parents and children, and completed Nurturing Parenting facilitator training.
Over time it became clear that it is the same work. A network fails when its parts stop talking to each other. A team struggles when people stop understanding each other. A family suffers when trust and encouragement are replaced by constant conflict. In every case, better communication is where the solution begins.
YanCom Communications brings both worlds together, along with PBank, a family app I created to make children's everyday efforts visible.
